Disputes about Wills and Inheritance

Disputes with other family members about the content of a wills after someone has died, can become incredibly destructive if they are not dealt with sensitively and robustly at an early stage. We have many years of expertise of assisting clients with these types of claims.

These claims can arise:

  • if one child of the deceased person has been given preference to others;
  • there is an indication that the person making the will may not have had capacity at the time, for example if they had dementia;
  • the will has not been properly drafted or witnessed;
  • someone has been left out of a will, who expected to be included in it; and
