Pip Shaw
Paralegal Secretary
Pip has worked in the legal sector for 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge, experience and competencies in several areas of law.
She joined Samuels in 2002, initially working as the personal assistant to the senior partner, Jan Samuel. Pip's decades of experience in the legal sector means she now works in both a secretarial and a paralegal capacity, dealing with her own cases.
Litigation was Pip's speciality for many years, in addition to her being highly skilled in other disciplines. She now assists in the property department. She deals with all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing, preparing fee quotes for clients, liaising with estate agents and other solicitors, conducting searches, dealing with stamp duty issues, and ensuring that properties are properly registered. She is efficient and professional, with a great eye for detail, which is appreciated by clients who instruct her and colleagues who work with her.
Pip's professional and caring approach means that she trains new staff in office and secretarial procedures and is a well-respected figure within the firm. Pip has an excellent team spirit, is always cheerful, with a "can-do" attitude. Her skills are very much appreciated by clients and she regularly exceeds their expectations.
Outside of work Pip enjoys playing badminton, swimming, reading and spending time with her young family.
