Bude boundary dispute resolved by Samuels
Mark Cummings
Samuels Solicitors, based in Barnstaple, were instructed by Bude farmers in relation to a long running boundary dispute, which previously appointed solicitors had not been able to resolve.
The long running dispute meant that two barns which had planning permission for conversion could not be sold.
Within a short period Samuels had appointed a surveyor to advise where the correct boundaries lay. Once that had been done, we negotiated a favourable resolution which addressed not only the boundary issues, but also dealt with access and services to the land.
Our client was then able to market the barns and avoid a lengthy and costly litigation.
At Samuels Solicitors, we have a long history of assisting clients with boundary disputes, throughout Devon and Cornwall, and all over the country. We have increasing numbers of clients instructing us in the Bude area, and we offer free home visits to Bude clients.
In some cases, we are able to help clients who are worried about fees, on a conditional (no win no fee) basis. If this is not appropriate, we will always work with clients to find a flexible funding solution which is appropriate for them.
